Unstable

The group walked upstream beside the Clutha River along the Newcastle Track from Luggate. The cliffs always look as though they could crumble at any moment but have probably been like that for years and years. But ... something had happened in very recent times - there were land slips with rocks and stones tumbling down from the cliffs a bit further along the river. The rocks covered the track and the little beaches by the river. Just amazing. One extra of the biggest slip plus a general pic looking up the river.
