Color overload

Every room available on the internet in Yellowstone is taken. I have a room - I called and they keep some rooms in reserve - and there is a very solid chance that 30 days before my trip people will call and cancel their rooms and more will open up. You can cancel 30 days before without penalty. So I have a safety room. The people I've spoken with who work at Yellowstone have been uniformly sweet. 

You can play music on your cell phone as you hike to let the bears know you are coming so they aren't surprised. 

I was warned that some people decide not to leave....
