Daffodils and grape hyacinths blowing in the breeze in front of Inveresk Lodge (built in 1683)   The gardens which now belong to the National Trust of Scotland, slope down to a flat wild area which teems with damsel flies and butterflies in summer.  Today I saw a peacock butterfly and a small tortoiseshell.
