Daughter and Mother
Gone was the balmy, sunny weather of yesterday, replaced by a bitingly cold northerly wind which did its utmost to blow us to a standstill.
We had time for a walk before collecting Doreen to go for Sunday lunch at the Hop Pole in Nettlestead. Good lunch it was too.
We drove back the long way round along narrow lanes and streets that we haven’t travelled over in years.
This evening we went to see the annual Feast of Fiddles concert at the Brook Theatre in Chatham. Their 25th anniversary tour. We’ve been to many of their concerts in that time and it has always been a great night of music and entertainment.
Tonight was no exception, brilliant music all around topped by a tune called E flat English another piece of magic from Peter Knight which brought the house down.
