Rocks n roll .......

Cattle fed and headed off to roll the field that was sown with barley yesterday . It took a while as there were a lot of big stones to lift. Same old, same old. However I don’t remember my knees aching as much any other year. Must be an age thing.
Once that was done ,headed off to spread the fertiliser on it. Only got half way round the field when the slip clutch on the drive shaft packed in. Came home and managed to cobble a repair with a lump of chain and some bolts enough to empty the load . Not pretty but it lasted just long enough to do the job. So that’s another repair job to add to the list. Ho hum.
