Mothers day!

He nailed it this year.  Last year I gave him the card from the previous year to give back to me (I'd kept it lovingly in the bedside drawer).  

He went out last night on a spurious errand - and this morning I woke up to the eldest presenting me with a present, a bunch of flowers and a card, then the husband came in with breakfast in bed.  

We then had a braai mid-morning (a family favourite), even if it was a bit chilly first thing.  

I even got away with a little sleep on the sofa at lunch time (joined by the eldest).  So all in all, I've had a pretty good day.
