Colouring up

It was chilly outside today so although I had every intention of getting some weeding done, I didn't stay out there very long. The ground is very dry, not ideal for weeding. These tulips seem happy with the weather, I'm sure they are earlier this year.
We put the clocks forward this morning for British Summertime. Increasingly it is called by the American name, Daylight Saving. It seems a misnomer - we have the same amount of daylight today as we had yesterday, so where was the saving?
