Welcome Back Rosie!

Dear Diary,

Finally, little Rosie Red Bottom has emerged from her winter den! (See the extra to observe her very red bottom!  It is like she sat in a bucket of rusty red paint!)  She is looking a bit thin which is not surprising after the long winter.  I made sure she had two full seed bowls with plenty of sunflower seeds and peanuts.  She will fatten up quickly I’m sure.

This is a good sign that spring is truly going to appear.  Slowly the wheel is turning and despite the cool-ish temperatures the melting continues.  Tomorrow, April first!
