A step too far

I'm doing a leadership course which has some 1 to 1 coaching, I actually enjoy opportunity to reflect but today we were discussing Empathy and we came to an agreed action that I'd be fully present in conversations with people (rather than be thinking about whats for tea...) and while doing so id try to reflect people's feelings / notice how they are.

I said that id be on holiday next week, my coach said "so is there any opportunity to try this outside work? Implying family life.
