The Shard at Night
Some days you are struggling for a subject to blip whilst on others you are spoilt for choice, today was one of the latter.
Up fairly early this morning and walked down to Tower Bridge to catch the early sun lighting up the bridge and city. A sharp shower passed with a splendid rainbow over the City of London. Possible blip i thought.
Most of the day was spent at Greenwich at the Maritime Museum for the exhibition of photographs by one of my heroes Ansel Adams. it was wonderful to see the many original prints by the Master depicting water in it's many forms. I took quite a few blippable pics in the exhibition but did something similar yesterday. The afternoon was spent walking around Greenwich with beautiful light on the historic buildings. more pics for a blip.
After traveling back to the Tower of London by boat night was falling and I joined the hundreds of camera and phone waving tourists, hopefully with slightly better results. As time was pressing and with only the small laptop screen to process on I eventually chose this picture of the Shard which just happened to be the last shot of the day.
