Picking up the pieces

The pigeons nest had survived all winter in the tree but was blown apart by Storm Gareth a few weeks ago, with the twigs all strewn in the garden.  They have decided to build a new nest and always seem to pick up twigs so that they are too awkward to handle.  They seem to have decided to try and build in the conifer trees and you can see bottom right the pigeon trying to get in to the trees, and not very successfully as the twigs are hanging out of the tree and falling out.
