Applause

I wasn’t entirely sure that I would make it to the end of our concert today in one piece. My shoulder has been playing up for some weeks - but with the aid of a large slug of cortisone and several painkillers I successfully negotiated the whole thing, even the ffff bits of the New World Symphony. The audience seemed to like it!
