Glencorse

A few km to the south of Edinburgh is Glencorse reservoir. This is one of the sources of water for Edinburgh and is also stocked with rainbow trout. For a small fee you can buy a licence and hire a boat for a day's fishing and you can have a reasonable hope of actually catching something for tea.
