Sad start to Saturday when our local parkrun was abandoned after a runner took ill.

He collapsed just after it started with a suspected HA and was attended to by the run director, local police and ambulance services.

Apparently it did not look good but let’s hope for some good news.

I assisted the volunteers with walking the route in reverse to advise runners to not advance to the finish line enter they were working.

Didn’t fancy the gym after that so just headed home.

After lunch we were on dog walking duties with Max as our friends were out for the day.

We enjoyed a 2 hour walk in a very nice sunny afternoon.

Lazy night with pizza planned.
