red sun

Did anyone else see the blood red sun this morning?The sun itself was deep red, with the dawn rising around it. My attempts to take the photo did not do it justice. I was rushing as usual to catch a bus. I could have stopped to take more, as the driver apologised to me for being late- he had had a water leak which had to be cleaned up before leaving the garage, apparently!!!!! The mind boggles. or mine did anyway. Imagine that happening on a Black Friday.

I liked the reflections of light on the water, with the empty seat overlooking the water. Even the gulls were quiet, feeding in the sand.
