Purple day

Lots to prepare for Brownies tonight.We held a Purple session where the girls came dressed in Purple as part of International Epilepsy day.One of the Local Mums has asked for our help to raise funds for The Daisy Garland Charity http://www.thedaisygarland.org.uk who have helped her and her daughter who has Dravet Syndrome a rare form of Epilepsy.
We were pleased to help and held a secondhand book/toy stall and had Guess the Teddies Birthday where the girls could win a Daisy Teddy and a birthday cake.
We made Daisy Chains filled with good deeds the girls had achieved during the week , dyed Eggs purple using beetroot ( also used carrots and onions for a different colour ) . We also had a go at eggsperiments with bouncy eggs and one where the egg is sucked into a bottle, great fun :)
We were lucky to have a visit from Natalie and Meme.Natalie had dyed her hair purple , ver brave and a great way to raise even more money.
We have raised £86 so far with hopefully abit more to come .
