What We Do In Santa Clarita

My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess Normal,

Caro and I were delighted that Santa Clarita Diet has returned for a third season, and also that the TV series version of What We Do In The Shadows has premiered on NZ telly.

"Shadows" has different characters and is set in America, but it's much the same. Guillermo the Familiar is tasked with luring virgins to the house, and for this reason he joins a LARP (live action role playing) group.

NANDO THE VAMPIRE: But are they virgins?
LARP PLAYER: I'm not a virgin! I'm in an online relationship! Although we haven't actually met, eye-arr-ell.
NANDO: Oh well done, Guillermo.

They've also introduced a new character, Colin Robinson the Energy Vampire. He sucks the life force out of people just by talking to them. I'm pretty sure I've encountered one or two of his kind before.

The pussycats have been very low energy today. Here you see Punky, shortly after he laid in front of the radiant heater. He stayed in front of it for so long, that he had to take himself into the hallway and then make himself flat on the floor to cool off.

As for me, I've been in my bum pants all day. I love weekends.
