PAIR OF KINGFISHERS

When Photographing Kingfishers ( any bird I suppose) one has to take what is given. In this case poor lighting and a bits of a messy perch.
Kingfishers are very much creatures of habit and they seem to always return to the same perch. This perch being a bit of driftwood in the middle of the ChCh estuary. Its good to get two birds at a time - had I been quick I would have gotten three - it was getting like Heathrow airport for a few moments..
