Happy Valley in the sun

A late start after a disturbed night - woke just after 4.00am with a painful, throbbing knee after yesterday evening's little incident, not to mention a very annoying tune rampaging around my head! Aaaargh!

A day of paperwork - paying bills, mostly - and chores. Mid-Afternoon MrM and I decided that it would a shame to waste such glorious weather, downed tools, and went for a walk in Happy Valley. Sunny and mild, and very peaceful - we saw no-one else, and the only sounds were bird song and water in Harthope Burn and, briefly, a deer barking. We walked further than intended, and it was time to eat by the time we got back home. MrM cooked an amazing curry!

Unfortunately, most of the afternoon off means a working evening - MrM's out in the workshop, and I'm about to tackle the living-room walls yet again...
