Frankles

I’m convinced our German teacher suggests words that are „English“ when she knows they’re not, just to wind us up.
Frankles is supposedly the term for the piece of bare leg between shoe and cropped trouser that is exposed in spring...this is assuming the person isn’t proper German and wearing ankle socks with their sandals.
