A change in the weather

We intended to go for a walk today but woke to hear rain hammering on the roof of our room.

We headed out in the car and the weather briefly cleared giving us this lovely rainbow.  Unfortunately it closed in again and we drove 50km through steady rain along a gravel track to reach the Argentina border.

The weather was blowing a gale and there were hardly any opportunities for pictures apart from these Emus in my extra  (PS we are informed by someone at our hotel they are in fact Rheas)

It's the first bad weather we have had since we have been in Chile so can't complain
