A walk through the woods at Powter Howe to Bassenthwaite this morning.  Lovely weather again.  Misty did lots of paddling.  The local dog waker was there with lots of dogs.  I counted 20, gulp!  There were four or five people with them.  Still quite daunting though even though they were all friendly.  There's lots of lovely trees by the lake and I like these two, the one on the left about to burst into life whereas the one on the right will never burst into life again.

Afterwards went to look at the daffodils in the churchyard at Wythop and it was so lovely there I sat on the bench for quite a long time just listening to the birds singing... it was bliss.   Oh and had a snack too!  Misty just lay on the grass in the sunshine and here she is in extras.
