The Flotta Lass

The Flotta Lass curves into Houton where she will disembark the shift workers and then return to the island of Flotta.  Shift changes are typically early morning and late evening.  Workers normally put in a 12 hour shift.  I am always standing on the jetty at departure reminding them (especially Alex) that they are all paying into my pension.  They are so cheery when they receive my message.

There’s hardly time to do the crossword on board as she fairly nips along.  There are two Scania engines both at 591 bhp.
