Garrya Elliptica

It is the most beautiful December day here made that much better by a stroll round the garden. Today's star is this wonderful garrya with its gorgeous catkins.
My original intention was to put a reserved sign on some holly which had some amazing berries on it yesterday in readiness for the pud next week. Too late! The early bird not catches the worm in this garden but clearly beats me to the berries as well.
