Flow
I'm due to lead next Tuesday's Ramblers walk around Kirkintilloch, so I thought today might be a good day to go out and do the recce. The sun was shining and, although it was a little breezy and none too warm, it wasn't a bad little day at all.
It was an easy and relatively short circular walk up past the leisure centre and Woodhead Park, along part of the Strathkelvin Railway Path, followed by a bit of urban walking through Lenzie to Lenzie Moss Local Nature Reserve. After that, my route took me through Boghead Wood and onto Christine's Way, beside the Park Burn, before exiting at the marina and back into Kirkintilloch along the Forth and Clyde Canal. These flats reflected in the water near journey's end made a rather pleasant pattern.
Hoping for similar weather on Tuesday morning when we do the walk for real.
