Thursday sale day .....

One of those mornings today. An early start to get the cattle fed before the float in to collect the 18 blks for today’s sale at St Boswells . Only problem was the tractor was sitting with a flat back tyre. Then I couldn’t find the keys for the other tractor. Eventually found them down between my wellie and leggings after looking everywhere I thought I had been including phoning Littlemiss to check down the side of the sofa !
On the up side the blks sold a wee bit better today with the tops making £1185. Sounds good until you take off the auctioneers commission and the haulage but there you go. Back home to feed cattle again and various other jobs . Dry but a chilly wind tonight. Perfect lambing weather !
