Belles
When it’s 8.30 in the evening and you still haven’t got a blip, it’s useful to have a couple of blip sympathisers on hand to help you out. Lindsay and Rachel came to my rescue tonight when I arrived at choir practice, blipless.
It’s been a busy, active and tiring day. At work we had to walk over to the other end of the village for a cross country competition. The presence of parents turned a perfectly pleasant afternoon into a stressful, logistical nightmare as they fussed and fretted and generally upset their children, making it impossible for us to keep tabs on them and forcing us to physically remove the children from their parents when it was time to go.
After school, it was straight to a staff meeting and I haven’t stopped since.
Time for a sit down and a glass of wine.
