Our ....

..... afternoon!
"A" and I took a car ride out today passing fields of grape vines . They are in this part of Kent cos' they catch the sun in this lane , just the right environment for the grapes to ripen . The lane was free of traffic and road works which made a change. A lovely spring day with blue skies and cotton wool clouds, really beautiful. We went to a garden centre, new to me, where I was delighted to find it had several " outlets" one of which was Pavers Shoes. At last I could get the shoes I wanted without bustling in Croydon. Another extravagant shop but this one was sooo necessary!
We came home a different way in the rush hour, so it did take twice as long , but no matter we'd had such a great outing.
Home where we had Salmon , new potatoes and green beans for supper . With raspberries and ice cream for afters .
