Plagued by an awful headache all day, then ran the gauntlet of processional caterpillars in the garden (for the uninitiated they are annoying because they are toxic for the dog) and managed to get her in, before gathering them up!
An hour later, I took her out so she could have a pee, and was so busy checking for caterpillars on the ground...I completely missed the ruddy great pheasant standing a metre from her! Oh to have been quicker with the camera - he was a beauty. I am happy to report he got away and no damage was done. Unfortunately all Tara wants to do now is sniff every single part of the garden - which I can't let her do, cos of the caterpillars.
