Nothing new under the sun.
Pressures and stresses exerted and felt.
Just think of the energies that must have gone into this bit of rock.
I suspect rocks don’t get frustrated with themselves. They endure.
I couldn’t have told you where I was going to end up today.
I just went and one foot went in front of the other.
As I walked there was a farmer bringing in the sheep. He was sat on his quadbike calling out instructions to his dog. As I approached him I just wanted to ask him, ‘do you remember G, or I?’ He was of an age and tradition, a time and an era, where he probably would have done.
As I passed we exchanged hello’s and I walked on crying.
I looked across the landscape clutching at straws for a living connection to the dead, frustrated with myself for finding it such a struggle to be amongst the living.
