Butterfly Bridge

Over to Bedford this morning for a walk around the Embankment and a visit to my favourite local Italian deli where I got some rather good fennel sausages and some lemon cannolis.  We also had a very tasty light bagel lunch in a new (to us) cafe; I had salt beef and gherkin while W had the hummus and roasted pepper.  The Embankment area was lovely in the Spring sunshine; this is the butterfly footbridge built for the Millennium.
