Amaryllis race 6 - Pride comes before a fall!

What a difference a day makes (see yesterday). I found white had collapsed. It had grown too tall and heavy for the strength of its stem, which was hollow and weak. Now it can only stand by resting on red, otherwise it is horizontal. Red had a difficult start in life and its flowers haven't developed fully but it is small and beautiful and also very strong, its stem is able to hold the weight of white. 

Now, I think there is a parable in there .....!  
Blessed are the weak 
Bring down the mighty and lift up the lowly.
