The Calm Before The Storm
Today has been so hot - 36.5C by mid-afternoon (97.7F in old money). Everything living was wilting and anything seemed like too much effort.
I blipped all the ice-creams in Colin James' shop cabinet (as much to feel cool as anything) which might have been the day's blip. Then came a stunning sunset sky and this was the day's star turn.
And, as soon as it was properly dark, we were treated to the most magnificent electrical storm, followed by torrential rain. The temperatures have plummeted at last!
