The Holly and the Ivy

The words "nice and homemade" were used by MrsB to describe my best efforts at making a Christmas Wreath for our front door yesterday. I'm still trying to work out if I need to de-cypher and re-interpret that further, though in my eyes it saved me quite a few pounds, and I like the fact it is made from our weeds garden.

I wouldn't want to make more than one though, as all the holly pricks on my wrists are reminding me too much of my nemesis the annual holly hedge trim.

It looks really nice as it starts to get dark and the centre is back-lit by the diamond-shaped window behind.

Let's hope the postman can find our tiny letterbox.
