Peace before the party

All was set at 6pm for the arrival of guests at our Christmas drinks party. Mr hazelh and I sat on the sofa and admired the scene.

Fifteen minutes later the first of our friends arrived. The last few left seven hours later after a fabulous evening of drinking, dancing and fun conversation.
