Yellow Submarine

This display, on the water at Albuquerque's River of Lights, is a yellow submarine.

During the afternoon, the wife and I drove to Albuquerque (about an hour away) for a steak dinner. Then, we wandered over to the Biopark to see the lights. We took a little jitney train from the parking lot to the Botanic Gardens, all dressed up. It was pretty cold, but everyone seemed to be having a good time.

These images were obtained using techniques learned at a University of New Mexico continuing education course on photographic light. Thanks to Pat Berrett, I found that hand-holding a camera in the dark and getting a good image is not that hard. Thanks, Pat.
