Victorian Holiday Village

Saturday
I'm afraid my entries are rather sparse at present - I have a couple of backblips from the last week to enter sometime, but mainly I just haven't been taking many photos. I hope to get back to more regular posting shortly!
It was a busy day today. We were at church in the morning for choir rehearsal with orchestra for our special Christmas music presentation at church tomorrow, which is also the first Sunday in our new sanctuary. Then after lunch we were back at church, since we had signed up to help move the contents of the library over to the new media center, which is adjacent to the coffee area by the new sanctuary. After dinner, which Roger kindly prepared for us while I was getting some jobs done, we went out to a concert by the Vocal Arts Ensemble and the Cincinnati Boys Choir at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Northside, formerly known as Cumminsville, one of Cincinnati's older suburbs. We weren't familiar with the area or the church, but it turned out to be a large and beautiful church, and the concert, which was by candlelight, was beautiful. Our journey home took us by this Victorian Holiday Village, which is put up every year by Ohio National Financial Services on their grounds. They have four evenings early in the month, when they serve hot chocolate and cookies and kids can get their pictures taken with Santa etc, but it remains illuminated through the holiday season and you can wander round and enjoy the lights.
