The Strand

This was a movie theater from 1935-1976. The last movie shown was Earthquake. Many tried to restore and use it off and on for nearly 25 yrs but in 2004 it was restored at a cost of 12 times the original construction cost. It is now home to the Atlanta Lyrical Theater. Today's show was White Christmas and will run until Christmas Eve. The production is great and all shows are sold out.
