Tuesdays tiny

Was traipsing our back forest this afternoon and it was hard going.  Still over a foot of snow in places and tricky walking as sometimes I'd push through and other times stayed on top of the ice encrusted top layer. 

I came across this tiny seed pod just laying on the surface.  It survived the layers of snow over the winter and now with Spring and warmer temperatures upon us, was uncovered.  

The extra shows how much snow has melted and how much there still is!  Here it is just over a month ago...
