Txopela

This fabric adorned the inside of the txopela I rode to the office this morning. Txopela (pronounced ‘shopela’) is the word used for a tuk-tuk here. I’m pleased to have stumbled upon this mode of transport as using taxis regularly crushed my soul and destroyed my wallet. Txopelas are a little cheaper.

Working with colleagues in the UK, we met an important deadline that had been stressing me out for the last week. However it was already late by the time I could escape from the office, so I ate whatever I could lay my hands on: crisps and bread.
