Dinner with a daughter

Our choir Christmas concert was this afternoon, and two of our daughters were able to be present (the third one lives in Arizona). After the concert, we invited them to join us for supper , but only one of them could come. The younger daughter, the mother of Michael and Emmy, already had a dinner invitation, but Becky was able to join us. She is our middle daughter and the mother of Carrie and Bryan, our two oldest grandchildren. It was great to relax with a glass of wine and pizza at the end of a busy day and extra special to have some time with our daughter. Now I think the time has come for a little TV and an early bedtime. It has been a very full (and fulfilling) weekend.
