The Great Wen

While I mess about in the greenhouse/garden Lady H finished her latest jigsaw. Gave her this in her Christmas stocking!
Well its cheaper than having to go there and I had a lot more fun!
William Cobbett in his 1830s work "Rural Rides" disparagingly called London "The Great Wen" a "wen" being a sebaceous cyst!
