Alice and the White Rabbit go out for Lunch

Today I was elevated to the status of a lady who lunches, although it seemed when my friend and I entered the Rabbit Hole Restaurant as though we should have been Alice and the White Rabbit.

We went early to secure a window seat and had a most enjoyable 2 hours eating and chatting. The food was good and the lunch price not destined to break the bank.

It was surprisingly cold today after what seemed a warmer start because the chilly wind increased. I had another limbering up on the bike before breakfast- nothing serious just a gentle tootle round the quieter roads in the district. It’s surprising how many people are out and about after 6am, running, jogging and dog walking.

And so another day has slipped past, a quiet uneventful day with no traumas or upsets. If only one could ensure that days would continue like this......... but maybe that would become boring. It would be good to put it to the test though.
