Swanning about

I don't remember the last time I went into Bedford proper, but I took the bus in this morning and headed to the Photo Gallery to get a few mounts for an exhibition.

I walked down to the river to see the new developments and shops and was pleasantly surprised.  Mind you anywhere looks good when the sun's shining.  Then I crossed back over the road for a stroll along the Embankment and just spotted this swan coming in, but wasn't quick enough to think to change to shutter priority.  It looks much better in "large".

This afternoon I've spent a pleasant afternoon watching the men felling the Poplars using continuous mode, although something went slightly awry and I need to work out why.  I still got around 180 pictures.
