Gate Latch

I love the faded green colour of this gate and its' crackled surface.  Most of the screws that are supposed to be holding the latch in place are missing and it's coming away from the gate which probably makes the relatively new looking padlock superfluous.  There's only one screw holding the catch (not sure if that's the right word) in place and it's hanging on for dear life to the darker piece of wood that's showing signs of rotting.  It wouldn't look as good without a generous covering of rust over all the latch and remaining screws.
