Springjoy
bright sky and blue sun
put joy in our hearts after
a lengthy winter
Had to go to Pontivy in the afternoon as Julie had to pick up the paraphernalia to do her sleeping test to know if she did sleep apnoea. We had the results in the morning after another visit to the hospital: the pulmonologist was happy to report that she had no such episodes during the night. The truth is, the symptoms that had made us think Julie might have sleep apnoea, such as a constant feeling of fatigue, have disappeared in the months since our first visit to the doc, thanks to her new treatment. So it was not really any surprise. Still, it feels good to have been able to put that aside, because sleeping with tubes up your nostrils is not particularly fun, and that's what you're condemned to do if you do have sleep apnoea... a machine gently forces air into your lungs during the night, with the associated soft whirring...
Apart from that, our respective, and mutual, thinking has been going on. Fingers crossed.
