Gaddings Dam

For our last wild swim of the year, we trekked up to Gadding's Dam up on the hills in Todmorden. It was our coldest swim so far - with the thermometer registering the water as 0.5c. There was lots of ice on the water and we had to choose our spot to get in carefully, whilst also trying to avoid the wind. It was a very quick dip but we all did it - and really enjoyed the hot coffee and flapjacks afterwards. Hooray for wild swimming!
