Before the heavens opened

I headed off into town for some more (& almost the last :D ) Christmas shopping. I also intended to have yet another go at finding the local landmark the Obelisk which I have failed to find after 20 years of living in Camberley!

As with yesterday, I started in bright sunshine, but by the time I left the shops the clouds had arrived. Never the less, I started to walk in the direction of the Obelisk: Success! It sits in woodland at one end of the park on the summit of a hill. By the time I got to the top it was rather too gloomy for a decent shot, but the view behind me over the town was enhanced by a wonderful tobacco light. A few minutes later it was pouring with rain!
