Exciting day, I am actually going away for three days to Tunbridge Wells. It is close enough that I can return quickly for Jeanie if needs be, but hopefully not.
The first train was delayed a few minutes but then I ran a bit at Waterloo East and caught the train before the one I expected to so arrived at twelvish. I had a toasted tea cake and cuppa in Hoopers the little department store opposite the station before walking up to where I am staying. The owner has a madly affectionate dog.
Then back out for lots of walking and exploring..some great architecture.
I was worn out by the evening so watched catchup on my I pad and then bed..
