Sunday Collage ....

With the house feeling so empty we had to get out for a while ....

Plainfield Rail Trail and Jacobsburg State Park were the destinations.

When we arrived at the rail trail we put down some nuts and seeds and then took our walk up the trail.  We didn't see any chipmunks at first but on our return to the car this little cutie came to hoover up the seeds!  I believe this to be a female .... possibly with babies in her burrow or on the way.

After leaving the rail trail we took the short drive to Jacobsburg State Park to see what was happening there!  A lot as it turns out!  The place was packed with cars in the parking lots and many people walking about.  That's what a beautiful spring day will do for you!

We immediately headed to the frog pond and as we got closer we could hear the many, many frogs peeping!  They have surfaced!  There had to be at least 30-40 frogs in the pond today .... and lots of frog scum (eggs).

I would like to thank all who visited my journal yesterday ... Thank you so much.  I'm sorry that I haven't replied individually. The outpouring of love and support from all of you wonderful blippers is so heartwarming. The house just feels so empty now ... we have picked up most of the cat things leaving behind empty spaces.  We have never faced this before ... not having a kitty in the house.  But it will probably be some time before we get another cat as we have several vacations planned and some home projects that should be done.  

We shall see ....
